Grissom Air Force Base

As part of the fuel depot refurbishment project at the Grissom Air Force Base in Grissom, Indiana, Kelley Construction was awarded the construction of the tank foundations and site refurbishment. Scope included (3) 60′ concrete ring-wall foundations with PTF liner and 10′ wide concrete aprons, dike floor grading, approximately 215,000 square feet dike area liner, dike area underground drainage, and dike wall refurbishment with roughly 8,000 square feet of exterior concrete paving. Kelley Construction was able to stay within budget for this project as well as meet all schedule milestones despite completing this project during COVID-19. The additional protocols and working requirements put in place did not hinder the outcome of the project.
