St. Joseph Children’s Home Renovation

Kelley Construction renovated 90,000 sf of the St. Joseph Children’s Home located in Crescent Hill. The three-floor and gym renovation of this 150-year-old building was conducted in phases. Phase 1 of the project included interior demolition and exterior improvements, Phase 2 included the fit-out of the West and Central Wings, and Phase 3 included the East Wing and a complete renovation of the commercial kitchen. Wrapping up the project was a complete renovation of the gym facility.

This space was transformed into a beautiful, modern interior with plenty of natural lights and open areas, while still keeping it’s historical features on display. The renovation consisted of a complete overhaul of the HVAC system which included new boilers, all handling units and hydraunic piping throughout. There was also a complete overhaul of the electrical system with LED lighting, specialty fixtures and a new elevator.
