This project was a full ground-up build adjacent to Sun Behavioral Delaware’s existing behavioral health hospital, aimed at expanding their Georgetown, Delaware campus and enhancing their services. The facility is a single-story, 18,733 sq. ft., dual-purpose behavioral health center. The two primary components of the facility are an outpatient clinic and a residential congregate living area.
The outpatient clinic spans 12,380 sq. ft., with dedicated spaces for both adult and adolescent care, including group rooms, exam rooms, and various support areas. Additionally, the clinic features a recreational courtyard for patients. The congregate living area is 6,353 sq. ft and provides 20 beds (10 rooms), along with support spaces, a kitchen area, and a courtyard for residents.
