Kelley Construction was subcontracted to build (2) 200’ diameter concrete ringwalls as part of ExxonMobil’s expansion project at its recently purchased terminal in Wink, TX. This additional infrastructure was developed to provide additional storage and transport fuel to the Gulf Coast refineries and export hubs, increasing ExxonMobil’s presence in the rapidly growing Delaware Basin. Kelley Construction was subsequently awarded the associated sitework and concrete containment walls which increased the overall efficiency and consistency of the project. Overall, the project utilized over 4,800 cubic yards of concrete, 31,000 tons of stone, 16,000 tons of sand, 800,000 square feet of liner and almost 400tons of concrete reinforcing. Kelley Construction completed our scope of work with zero recordables and no lost-time incidents.
